Jen Brooks is proud to be from the San Francisco Bay Area where she was born into a theatrical family (Ellen & Jack Brooks). By age 3, she became a headliner on the living room skit circuit. But her first big role was won at age 10, when she beat out a bevy of freckle faced girls for the title role in the musical Annie...a musical monster was created!

Jen attended the American Musical and Dramatics Academy (AMDA) in New York City, and immediately after graduation she was cast in her first production of A Chorus Line as Maggie: a small role with a big note. The rest is resumé...

Favorite roles played include: Princess Leonide (Triumph of Love), Rumpleteaser (CATS), Red Girl (Shout! The Mod Musical) and Val (A Chorus Line).

Dream roles include: Eva Peron (Evita), Christine (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Glinda (Wicked), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Janet/Chaperone (Drowsy Chaperone), Millie (Thoroughly Modern Millie), and the Witch (Into The Woods).

While performing, Jen also found the time to become a licensed hairstylist and make-up artist. She started her own business in 2011, which has won rave reviews on Yelp and also won Weddingwire.com’s 2013 Bride's Choice Award and has been featured in Time Out New York Magazine's "Best of"- www.StyledByJen.com - if you are curious.

Theater continues to be Jen’s first love, and she is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association.
